Apex Legends Update: Shadow Society

Shadow Society Update

As mentioned earlier, the Shadow Society Update is the latest event that is coming to Apex Legend. If you are a new player or a veteran, you definitely don’t want to miss out as this gangster-themed event is gearing up to bring a new set of cosmetics, a limited-time game mode (LTM), and a brand-new Apex Artifact is waiting for you. This event is set to run from 26th March 2024 to 16th April 2024, so you’ll have a whole month to enjoy this event.

New Game Mode: Lockdown

The Shadow Society is not coming empty-handed. It is set to bring along a new limited-time game mode that goes by the name of Lockdown. In this game mode, you’ll be following a four-squad free-for-all battle format that will be played on Thunderdome, Skulltown, Zeus Station, and Monument. You’ll be tasked with having to secure the Capture Zones, which will periodically spawn throughout the map. Securing these zones will grant you points and the first team to gather and collect 500 points will win. It is worth noting that in this game mode, you’ll only be able to access the TDM loadouts.

Apex Artifact: Cobalt Katar

If you are tired of your current Apex Artifact and want to get your hands on a new one, you might want to check out the latest Artifact that is featured in the Shadow Society event: the Cobalt Katar. It is an all-new universal Mythic Melee cosmetic that can be equipped on any Legend. You can only acquire this melee cosmetic through Shadow Society Event Packs as a part of the limited-time event.

Speaking of cosmetics, no event is truly complete without new skins! The Shadow Society update is set to introduce 36 exclusive, themed cosmetics, including standout Legendary skins for fan favorites Legends like Mad Maggie and Horizon, among others. As you gather items from the Shadow Society during this limited-time event, you’re not just building your collection; you’re unlocking special Milestone Rewards. These bonus treasures are our way of saying thanks as you hit key collection milestones. You’ll find these rewards popping up in your inventory as soon as you unlock 5, 10, 20, and finally all 36 items. It’s our little way of making your journey even more rewarding.
